Competitive Fighters: Next Step!!

Okay, next step.... As indicated, we have now spent a few years fiddling with competitive fighters, galas and the many federations that the kickboxing world has. Noël Twight joined a few months ago and his experience and fighters are a wonderful addition. To let everything get used to each other, we set aside a few months to welcome his "members" as Burning Heart members and also gave Noël time to find his place on an already top-notch running team.

A couple of years ago I would have thrown them straight into the deep end but my experiences in the martial arts world and my many conflicts with anyone who didn't do it my way, obviously the only and best way, have ensured that even I now respect that not everyone can switch gears and accept immediately.
Now 3 months on, Noel is a full-fledged team member who puts in maximum effort and has truly "earned" his place on the team himself, as he should. Class man! Proud of...

Therefore starting Monday we are now going to merge all competition fighters and strict rules are going to apply if you defend the name of your gym. Effective immediately, I can inform you all that we will only participate in galas with federations affiliated with the Section of Ring Contact Sports FOG! With no exceptions. 2016 we will also organize our own galas and don't need to explain to anyone that these will be of an exemplary level. 2 or 3 youth galas in our own gym with max 300 people audience. 1 gala in the spring until the B class and 35 plus in Hilversum at a beautiful location with max 1000 people and at the end of the year together with my brothers from Real Fighters we will close with 'A night to remember' with max 1750 people and many A parties.

I'm used to being loved and hated so as a "rookie" in the kickboxing world I'm telling all you experienced organizers and fighters that I'm going to start a crusade against everyone who organizes by their own rules and values!!! For years the kickboxing world has been spoiled by you guys, no real rankings exist and titles are handed out that people think up over breakfast!!! Fine and it is a world with many egos and names but, fair is fair, kickboxing belongs to everyone now, all layers of the population practice it and it is time for a fresh, honest and above all clear wind! The Netherlands is small but what greats we have been producing for years and the reason they never become sportsman/woman of the year is only because of the values and standards of 'The wrong scary kickboxing world'!!! But I can tell every critic and journalist that there are a lot of people working to get this all on track and a young fresh and unprecedented gym like Burning Heart Gym is going to do everything they can to support this.
