We are almost 14 days into our new facility on Franciscus Road and must say that the work is running smoothly. It is now Thursday and almost all the demolition work is behind us. Both at Ladies Only on the second floor and at Dance Dance Dance on the first floor the walls where the mirrors come in are almost finished. If everything goes well, the electrical work on the first floor will be finished this week. Friday is on the schedule to attach a number of beams where the punching bags will hang, I think from memory 27 pieces.
These bags will remain on the floor permanently because you cannot ask the weaker sex, on paper, to remove them after class.
The other part of the floor will remain empty so that there will be more than enough room for kicking against pillows, ground exercises and the like.
If the weather cooperates a bit, painting of the ceiling, walls, locker room and other areas will begin Friday afternoon.
On the first floor, the framework for a glass wall will be installed on Friday so that one has an unprecedented view of the dance event from the lounge area.
The special feature of this glass wall is the fact that one has an unobstructed view of the dance floor but cannot look out from the room itself. A special film is applied here.
Of course, the glass walls will be installed just before the opening, just like the mirrors.
As part of the dance floor there is a laminate floor over which a special PVC layer will be applied later. The laminate for this floor is already in the house, so once again if the coming weekend is lucky, the laying of this floor will start on Monday.
As mentioned, the ceiling at Ladies Only will be painted and at Dance Dance Dance there will be a lowered ceiling where new ceiling tiles will go in all over the room because the old ones were filthy and quite discolored.
LED lighting will be installed throughout the building, by the way, this Led lighting will also be in our existing gym.
You see, the workers of Burning Heart are not sitting still and are going to make a beautiful palace of which we can be proud.

This time there are only two subjects I bring to your attention with my already 37th blog but not the first two.
I am actually quite proud of what Jerry is doing as an entrepreneur.
Last night (Wednesday) after another day of hard work I enjoyed a BBQ with Daphne and Jerry in his garden and contrary to what I normally do, I went home quickly, stayed for a chat about mainly Dojo Burning Heart.
About how it started and what now stands as a house. Know he is not waiting for compliments but again.....super proud of the guy and Daphne.
