Gooiland Theatre

It's blog time for me, but I'm not quite in my head. Always think of that nasty news that came from Ajax this day and that concerns the health of one of their greatest talents, Abdelhak Nouri. A very talented guy who suffered severe brain damage during a practice match last Friday in Austria.

Gooiland Theatre
This sad event is in stark contrast to the euphoric feeling I had last night after returning home from Theater Gooiland where I thoroughly enjoyed the performance of the dancers of Dance Dance Dance. I know, maybe I'm a bit biased, but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. With me, more than 300 people have seen a spectacular show. Everything went as hoped, partly due to the volunteers who made this happen. I'm not going to put anyone in the spotlight in this blog, but I've seen from a distance what a job this performance has been, tribute to everyone who has contributed! Personally saw the performance from the balcony where I was standing with my film stuff and am not ashamed of it, I shed many a tear behind the camera, I found it so moving. I was glad I didn't have any people around me, I'm just a sentimental old man but had to laugh inwardly when Jerry confessed to me that he sometimes had tears in his eyes, he was so proud of his team. In less than 9 months I managed to perform in Theater Gooiland.

Use your pass
Would you like to point out once again that they can put a credit on your card to buy drinks or something similar. People regularly ask, give a bottle of drink, pay later afterwards. Our policy is that we don't start this anymore, no matter how silly and customer-unfriendly it may seem, because regularly people forget to pay afterwards, so people butter with the fish!
Take an example, 2 bottles a week is 700 bottles a year.

Cucumber season
It's starting to get cucumber time at our gym and I'm going to notice that in terms of topics. At the moment it's quietly rippling along at Burning Heart and I have to dig deep to report any news so think of what I've been planning before, dedicating chapters to the creation and development of Burning Heart. I still want to write my weekly blog in a meaningful way.

A bit shorter than usual, but no less sincere.

Until my next blog.
Dick
