Sports Nutrition: Benefit of Protein

It's that time again, blog time, and almost as usual I have little to nothing to report. The holiday has really started, noticed that today also on the highway to Alkmaar.I've been looking for a certain lens for a while and around noon I received an email that it is available from today. Normally I want to try out such a lens first, but this one has very positive reactions on You Tube so I took the plunge and ordered it via a pre-order. It is a Tamron 18-400, which has a nice wide angle and an equally nice telephoto setting. All this in one lens, which certainly counts as a big advantage for me. Normally I was obliged to change lenses regularly for a variable image, but with this lens that is a thing of the past. Saves a lot of time and can now shoot images from near to far in one go, hardly notice that I change positions. So I received the email around noon and within 5 minutes I was on my way to Alkmaar where the lens was waiting for me. It was quite windy on the way and that was especially noticeable when I passed Schiphol. Planes swung their wings quite a bit during landing. Just before Alkmaar there was a considerable traffic jam on the A9 on the other side, a tree had landed on the national road and there was only one lane available. The emergency services were busy removing that tree so stupid as I was, I thought when I drive back the tree will be cleared. Nothing could be further from the truth, I turned onto the A9 in the direction of Amsterdam and after 5 minutes the misery began. All in all, it took about 2 hours to get to Hilversum.
So much for my private story.

Dumbells
Back to the dojo where Ab started to place stickers on the Dumbell rack. By indicating where you should put these Dumbells back, we hope that the stickers will put them in their right place and therefore this rack will always be neat.

Sports Nutrition
Also want to take a moment to think about the fresh proteins we sell at the bar.
I don't have any idea about how or what to do with proteins, so I consulted Daphne.
In addition to her fitness, for which she has a diploma, Daphne is also what you would call a food expert, especially in the field of sports nutrition. She has also followed and successfully completed a training course for this.

At our Dojo we sell the brand QNT, Delicious Whey, in the flavors Belgian chocolate, banana, vanilla and strawberry. So with us there is enough variety to order a shake. We serve this shake with water or semi-skimmed milk, just whatever we feel like. You don't have to leave it for the price either, € 2.50, so I would say after reading this blog everyone to the shake.
