Parking, Bandages and Seminar Maik!

Do not park on grass

Normally I write my blog on Thursdays, in order to be as up to date as possible. At the moment I am making an exception, it is Monday morning, I feel sick but not so much that I am in bed. You can have that feeling, rickety, flu-like, lethargic and so on, in other words worthless. To make myself a bit useful I started my blog. Fortunately I have some topics worth mentioning in this blog. Before I start I have a private problem, several times a day my internet connection breaks down and with it the camera images. Fortunately it is short-lived but still highly irritating, especially when I am editing. Almost every day I make some kind of movie and the program I use, Adobe premiere pro, regularly saves the progress automatically. When suddenly the internet connection is lost and Adobe has not yet saved the progress, I lose that part which is extremely annoying.
I have a mediabox of Ziggo which regulates my internet connection and submitted my problem to them, still waiting for a satisfactory answer.
Back to the subjects concerning our dojo.

PARKING
Since last week we have been unpleasantly surprised by the fact that the Hermandad (police) has indicated that they issue fines when you do not park your car in the right spots near our gym. The spots that are taboo, the grass next to the washroom and the spot next to the fence of the Sligro. The attached photo from this blog shows these spots where you are no longer allowed to park. There is plenty of space in the industrial park to park your car but everyone wants to park as close to the door as possible it seems. Sometimes I hang out of the window and when I see the antics that people go through to get as close to the entrance as possible, it's hard to suppress a smile. So athletes, forewarned is forearmed! And avoid a fine!

BANDAGES
Regularly my help or advice is sought on how to apply bandages. Invariably I give the same answer, no idea! Of course, I refer the inquirer to Jeremy or Noëll, who do know how to apply a bandage. What I do know is that bandages should be a part of your equipment. Bandages, if applied properly, are a must in my opinion. They give support to your wrists and prevent injuries so I always recommend putting bandages on. Now I had made a video with Samantha that was on our previous website but can not find it so via you tube another searched which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of clarity.
