Max
Of course I start with a review of last Sunday morning, the morning that was dedicated to Duchenne muscular dystrophy. A disease that needs attention and money for much needed research and to contribute a little bit to this, Jerry asked each participant for 10,00 euro.
Something that was done spontaneously given the proceeds of € 810.00.
Max, the boy who suffers from this muscle disease, was present together with his parents and younger sister. Well on time Daphne and Jerry were present at the gym, something that normally rarely happens on Sunday morning, usually Jerry arrives 2 minutes before class starts.
After a short introduction the bag and condition training started and Max was regularly involved in this lesson by handling the whistle that indicated the pace.
On the pictures and film taken by yours truly you can clearly see that not only Max but also his parents and younger sister were thoroughly enjoying this happening.
After the regular class ended, everyone was asked to go outside to make a hedge of honor. Typical of Jerry to reenact a scene from the Rocky movie, with Max in his wheelchair everyone joined behind Max and Jerry to make a lap of honor. Sat myself in the back of a convertible driving ahead of the procession to capture that lap on camera.
After about 30 meters Jerry found out that Max who was holding a selfie stick with iphone was facing the wrong way, instead of capturing the people joining Max filmed me in the convertible.
Hilarity abounded and starting over with the iphone the right side erected.
After a short lap, this great morning was concluded and we look back on an unforgettable event that so emphasizes our motto: "One Gym One Fam".

Fisherman's Friend Run
After the overwhelming success of the Obstacle Run in Wijchen, there is a new challenge on the program of Burning Heart on September 4.
This time the Fisherman's Friend Run in Hellendoorn, 12 fantastic kilometers through the beautiful village of Hellendoorn, through forests, over hills and through the Reggevallei, challenging and original obstacles with lots of mud, water and fun!!!
At this moment 62 participants have already registered and the end of this month, June 30, is the final closing date for registration. Be sure to pay by this date, June 30, because Burning Heart must pay the bill to the organization in advance. Because we are registering as a group, we get a €5.00 discount on the entrance fee. Normally € 55.00, with group discount so € 50.00.
So people, not paid on June 30, no registration for this run.
Should there be a cancellation after payment due to unforeseen circumstances, you will lose the entry fee.
Of course we will provide a coach to travel to Hellendoorn together.
Details about this bus trip will follow in the course of time.

Vacation Schedule
Last item on my blog is the adjustment of our schedule, the vacation season is upon us again and as soon as we know the adjustments will be announced on social media and on the Dojo itself.
There will be few adjustments but normally we are less busy during the vacation period.
At the moment you will not say this because as I look at the statistics daily I see that on average 240 people a day visit our Dojo and this is actually much higher because still constantly see on the home camera several people walking into the Fitness at the same time. Folks keep your pass in front of the scanner if you go in with others at the same time. It is such a small effort!!!!
