Check in and Hopakeeee!

Damn, a week goes by so fast, it's blog time again. Fortunately, the weather is not so hot anymore and I notice that immediately in my physical condition. Not that my leg is over, but it will continue to bother me until I die, but it has become a bit more bearable compared to the past few weeks. Last Tuesday I finally saw an Ajax that appealed to me, how different from their first league match last Sunday. The progress regarding our membership is steadily going in the right direction, I will discuss this in more detail later in this blog.

I haven't been able to do much with my new camcorder yet, but I'm going to change that soon, but I did go to my friends from camera rental van Dalen who helped me on my way with the right settings that are numerous. In my last blog I mentioned that there will soon be instructional videos that will be useful especially for newcomers to our fitness how or what to use different equipment. There are numerous examples on you tube, but personally I think that these kinds of videos should be made in our own dojo.

It is slowly noticeable that the holiday time is progressing nicely, the occupancy of the classes is growing steadily in terms of the number of participants.  The new registrations also continue, of course there are also cancellations every month, but that is inherent to every gym.

So this was the introductory preface again now to the news as far as our dojo is concerned, there is not much to report, a recurring fact but always find something to write about ?

Check-in at each visit

Recently, Jerry posted a message on Facebook where he once again mentions the importance of checking in. For me this is a very normal state of affairs when people visit our dojo, but there are still too many members who apparently don't think that is necessary.
First of all, in the event of an emergency, the emergency services want to have a list of who is or has been inside. Seems very logical to me.
Because we are currently busy putting the list of members in order in connection with the imminent collection by Epass, it is a requirement that everyone scans. If a loud noise is heard during scanning, don't be alarmed, normally that sound means that something is wrong with the collection, but now you have most likely been removed from our system due to incorrect data. We will solve this problem on the spot so that you can use the card in the normal way again.
Therefore, once again, check in!!

Imminent renovation of our dojo

HOPAKEEE! A lot has changed.
Not Otopoets will be in the Autotaalglas building, but we will move the dance school there and build 2 dance halls!!
Means if the dance school doesn't use them, we will give a lot of fun extra dance lessons and (arial) Yoga which are offered by Burning Heart!!
The bar will also be removed upstairs, will remain a seating area, and we will make a lounge area of 100m2 downstairs where we will serve a la carte food, delicious meals but healthy and focused on your wishes! So lose weight? Athletics? Endurance sports, everything comes for everyone and mega fresh and tasty too!
There will be a large ladies' changing room and, if possible, a Turkish steam bath. Then the current judo dojo will be 3 times as big and we will move the Octagon there as well so that it is gone upstairs. This one comes into its own better in the dojo!
The entrance will be downstairs in the beautiful lounge area and will be occupied from 09:30 to 22:00. We have gone from papi's play dojo to a very cool gym and with these adjustments we are going to create a horrible A status Lifestyle gym which will be leading in 't Gooi!
Where you become a family member instead of a number and where you behave accordingly because otherwise we will kick you out just as easily! Atmosphere above dukoe, always honest and impossible to stop!!!
Passion and commitment always win over commerce! But don't worry, we're going to get so big that we're going to make a lot of money ?...

Then swimming pool and Otopoets! If everything goes as it looks now, Otopoets will move into the Goneo building, also under the gym! As soon as we have 500 Fam members further, we will move again and we will build a 30 meter long swimming pool with only windows to the Loosdrechtse weg!! Only then will we be satiated and I will have done everything I told you that I am going to do... I firmly believe in accelerating, I firmly believe in more commitment and more passion than my colleagues and, above all, I believe in honesty and openness!! Fuck it!! You can't do it either, but we'll do it.
