Last Thursday morning the Fitness equipment was taken to Hill-coating early to get a fresh new color. Around halt ten Jerry called me to ask if I could come to the Loswal to dismantle some benches in connection with spraying the equipment. He himself saw no time for that because of the large crowds at Otopoets.
A quarter of an hour later I reported to him to get started in good spirits. I had hardly started when the owner came to me to say that not only the leather benches but everything made of rubber had to be removed because the machines went into an oven during the process with a temperature of 180 degrees.
That was a bit of a scare but mind to zero and get going.
Because Jerry would be on vacation the next week, it was agreed that everything should be ready Saturday morning. He soon realized that this would not be possible because it was quite a job so brother Marco, who had a week off, was called in.
Together we were busy disassembling and Friday morning the last piece of equipment was apart.
Early Saturday we picked up the fitness equipment and brought it to Burning Heart. Arno Nikkels would help us reassemble the equipment. René Taling, Angel Milenov and Jasper Heystee also offered their services but along the way it became clear that this job was more complicated than anticipated.
After careful consideration 2 mechanics were arranged to finish the job on Tuesday.
Except for the cover plates which need to be repainted, half of the plates are black as intended, other half of the plates are red so these are off to the sprayer again.
Jerry is currently enjoying a well-deserved vacation so is obviously not at the Dojo, know from experience by now that he and only he may take on the renewed layout so the first few weeks the appearance of the Fitness room will seem a bit messy.
Gives me time to clean the equipment and when the repainted plates are back in place.

Dumbells
We were missing some Dumbells in the Fitness for some time, especially the heavier guys, but since Tuesday they have been neatly replenished. Ab unpacked everything and placed them neatly by weight in the rack. Shot some pictures of it and made a video to notify Jerry of it via facebook. Complimented Ab on the neat arrangement of the Dumbells.
Less than 15 hours later it was a mess again. Was even accosted by an athlete who gave the suggestion of sticking corresponding numbers on the side of the rack.
Now on all sides of the Dumbells the weight is indicated so sticking numbers seems unnecessary. Jerry doesn't think it's necessary either so people......please cooperate a little and clean up the Dumbells after use and put them neatly back in place.
