Merry Christmas

We are approaching my 100th blog, next week will be the day. Can hardly imagine it, remember like yesterday when I made the remark to Jerry and René that it might be an idea to start writing a blog with a weekly account of the ins and outs of Dojo Burning Heart.
Dojo Burning Heart was and is a dynamic company which provides enough material for a weekly report. After consultation with René, our graphic designer, we chose a recognizable design that would attract weekly attention. Never could have imagined that I would gain so many loyal followers.
On average about 1500 people read my blog with a high of 3600 readers! A huge number for me that I never counted on when I started writing the blog. Also use the blog to point out, among other things, that one needs to scan in person, something that still not everyone does although the abuse has diminished after an entry door entry is read. Through registration of the surveillance cameras some members were given a final warning because scanning is mandatory!!! The 100th blog is going to look slightly different but don't give anything away ?

Cinema visit for youth
This Saturday, 23-12, the youth members of dojo Burning Heart ages 10 and up will be going to the movie theater to see the movie Star Wars. We ask these youth members to come by bike and please be ready to change at 11:00 am for what jerry describes as a LOL LESSION. Last year it was the turn of the youngest, now it is the turn of the older youth. The intention is to go to the bios by bike, the youngest participants can go by car with one of the supervisors. You do not have to be in the competition group, so everyone from 10 to 15 years old is welcome, of course Burning Heart pays for the movie ticket and any refreshments.

Hats for winter weather
We have recently started selling black caps with our logo embroidered on them at the counter. For the mere price of 10 euros you will no longer have a cold head. Do not wait too long to buy such a nice hat because the demand is enormous. There are already quite a few people walking around with this headgear and I am afraid it will soon become a Ccollecters Item.

Access door
As mentioned in my previous blog about the new system to use the 24 hour drop I can report that this conversion is working properly. Currently over 60 conversions have been done so the momentum is there, on the access door it states how to proceed. After conversion, one must use the drip reader on the doorjamb. Conversion can still be done until the end of January 2018.

Opening hours Christmas
During both Christmas days, the Fitness/Crossfight area is open to non-members as well, both areas are open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. A great opportunity to introduce your friend to gym Burning Heart. Christmas Day there will be no activities at our Dojo, 2nd Christmas Day there will be the usual morning Mass.

Storage Rack Discs Fitness.
Following in the footsteps of the Crossfight room there is from now on a storage rack for weights concerning the Deadlift. Exactly such a rack already exists in the Crossfight-area and we are very satisfied with its use that we decided to place such a rack in the Fitness as well. Now just hope that people actually place the discs, after using Deadlift, in the rack. It is another step towards a tidy Fitness floor.

New Website.
Recently shot a lot of pictures for our updated website. The current photos were a bit outdated and that doesn't fit Burning Heart. Lately mostly filmed at the dojo but currently focused a bit more on taking striking photos, a job that is not easy with a demanding Jerry. On our revamped site, each sport practiced at the dojo is covered with 2 photos per item. With our current offerings that's quite a few pics ? Tricky was taking pictures for Ladies Only, the ladies who sport there want privacy and of course we respect that. I solved that by taking some ladies who sport at our Dojo to Ladies Only to make suitable pictures. It is a completely different room and ditto decoration.
