It's that time again, Thursday in other words, Blog Day. Didn't realize it but had to check on my computer which blog I ended up at. Number 69, secretly quite a little bit proud that I have almost written down the seventy blog. And that without skipping a single week. I remember it like it was yesterday when I came up with the idea of writing a weekly blog about the ins and outs of our Dojo. I made this comment to Daphne and Jerry who were enthusiastic from the start. In my wildest dreams I have no idea that my blog contains a loyal following of about 2500 readers on average, something our webmaster has confirmed to me several times. He can see exactly how many people read my blog.

Sports Day
Today I spent the morning on the artificial turf field of football club Het Gooi located on the Beresteinseweg. Burning Heart had received an invitation to be present as a gym at a sports day organized for all groups 8 of the Hilversum schools. It was the second time that we cooperated with this and this time it had a special touch because the Twins of Daphne and Jerry were also there. Beforehand, the weather forecasts were such that showers were expected and because I, as a film buff, naturally wanted to make a report of it, I was very curious how it would turn out. I thought it would be a good opportunity to take the drone with me, but that is only possible when it is dry. At the beginning of the morning there were quite a few drops of rain but soon the sky cleared up and it became almost dry. The Drone therefore flew above the sports field and was the introduction to the video that can be seen on Facebook. By the way, we were with quite a large number of trainers, in addition to Jerry and Abman there were two trainees who made themselves useful and were able to gain some experience. Personally we had a great time and what I heard from our trainers, the children did too.

Epass
It was actually possible from the beginning but we never paid attention to it, paying for drinks and the like with the Epass app. If you go to profile in your Epass App, you can put money on your bar credit via IDEAL and pay with your card or name. The amount spent will be deducted directly from your credit and the bartender can immediately see what credit is left on your card. A perfect system when you don't have money or debit card with you, you know we don't do roasting at Burning Heart, partly due to administrative reasons, partly due to nagging afterwards!

Vikings
It's slowly getting closer, the Obstacle Viking Run and from our side the t-shirts have been ordered. The color has become bright red with white print, I think it would be beautiful for the group photo. If you think about the condition, totally unprepared doesn't seem like an option to me. The experience of last year when everyone stayed together, and therefore a certain resting point automatically occurred at different obstacles has pleased us and for people with a lesser condition this run is therefore easy to do. My personal condition is such that Jerry and I are looking for a mobile device, partly due to my permanent disorder in my right leg. Because the course can almost be followed via a wide cycle path, this has several advantages, 1- I can follow you during the run, 2- I can film to my heart's content. Still have to get in touch with the organization but of course want to take our drone with us. Take, for example, the mud bath, wonderful because it is wonderful to be able to film from the air. Initially hoping for dry weather because that is a requirement to be able to film, especially with a drone.

The athletes who visit our Dojo during the day have noticed the best, the electrical installation is checked and adjusted or improved where necessary. As a result, it is possible that the lights or treadmills are temporarily switched off, we ask for your understanding for this necessary adjustment.

Thank you for reading my blog which this time went without a nagging item.

Until my next blog.
Dick
