Burning Heart: Renovation?

How quickly time passes, before I know it, it is time again to post my weekly story on the Burning Heart site. The last time I wrote that I felt particularly pleased because my "blog", against all odds, was so well viewed, it is no different with my 2nd blog. The counter stood at nearly 3,000 views a few days ago.

As I told you we are in the midst of remodeling especially the cross-fight room and the entrance to both the gym and the cross-fight. Despite a setback regarding the use of the elevator, still not working because an essential part has to be specially made and will only arrive in the course of next week, everything is going according to plan. The disposal of debris, demolished walls, etc. now goes through a window that can be removed in the corner of the cross-fight room straight into the dumpster. Despite the work, sports continue as usual, both during the day and during classes in the evening.

Unlike Albert Heijn in Kerkelanden, we are not closing for a few days during the renovation but you can just come to Burning Heart.

At the time of writing this blog, Thursday evening, the framework of the renovated entrance is just about complete. I expect the pass system to be in place on the new entrance this Monday and I urge you, as a last resort, to make sure you have the pass handy to avoid disappointment. Previously a knock on the window was enough to get someone to open the door from the inside but this has now become a lot more difficult due to the fact that the door is placed differently. So again people please take your pass with you at all times.

At the request of the training team, I would like to bring the following to your attention. Especially during the weekends, it happens that children play on the mat during bag and conditioning training. It regularly happens that these children are so absorbed in their game that they do not realize that they are getting too close to the athletes and are therefore in danger. To prevent this, I ask the supervisors of these children not to let the children play on the mat during class.

We are also in the process of using a timer on the entrance to the building to extend the opening and closing times, especially the fitness and cross-fight area. As soon as this clock is installed you will hear more about this.
