Abman Rules

Time for already the eleventh blog on the Burning Heart site, last week has been fairly quiet in the Dojo as far as news is concerned. Jerry is enjoying a week of winter sports in Austria with much of his family while I watch his house with my oldest granddaughter.
Every day he sends me footage of the Twins' progress on the long slopes and I can assure you that these girls are holding their own on the skis, even the black slope has been conquered by the Girls. Of course, Jerry himself regularly reports on this trip on Facebook.

BoxMaster
Just before last weekend, the third treadmill was exchanged in the Crossfight area, so as of Thursday, March 17, there are 3 treadmills available.

Unfortunately, there is still no news to report regarding the BoxMaster ordered from Fitness Result in late 2015. The BoxMaster was supposed to be delivered in January but is still not in the Crossfight space, much to our annoyance. Don't know if Nino reads my blog but buddy, where is this piece of equipment?

Some more cheerful news is the fact that a new Bag and Conditioning training hour has been added, namely on the Wednesday afternoon 2:00 pm. Our very own Abman leads this class and the first time we were able to greet 13 people who had a blast on the punching bags under his guidance.
An encouraging start of another lesson at our Dojo. This hour was created for people who work in the catering industry and find the morning hours too early. Of course, any member of our Dojo may attend this Pocket and Conditioning training hour. Should this prove to be a success, several afternoon classes will follow in the future.

Also started recording short instructional videos of various sports practiced at our Dojo. Last Saturday I recorded some videos with the teachers of The New Gentle Way, the Judo branch of our gym.
For me a new area but the first result is already on our website: https://burning-heart.nl/judo/.
It is our intention to put such instructional videos of Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, Crossfight and Fitness on our site with great regularity.

Request
Come back to some requests from my previous blog, there I made a request especially in the gym after your workout to hang or put the weights used etc. in the right place. It still happens too much that especially the Legpress hangs full of heavy weights, in my opinion it is part of the exercise to make sure that a next athlete can hang his own weight on the supports and not have to clear the weights of a previous athlete first.
Opening the door is slowly but surely getting a little better. Again some advice, scan your pass and put little pressure on the door until it opens after a few seconds. To leave use the big black button on the inside.
