I had a blog in my head that I wanted to give an extra touch because of blog no. 125. Quite a milestone and I never imagined that I would get this far. However, a sad event for me has thrown a spanner in the works. At the beginning of this week I was told that both my cat's kidneys are affected in such a way that there is only one remedy available and let her fall asleep painlessly.

Must have been about 2 years ago that I got Daphne's request to expand her family. A litter of females had been born on the Kolhornseweg and all but one of the females had been placed. At first I didn't have ears for that because of my age, but because of the persuasiveness of Daphne and her daughters I changed my mind and took the last to my flat. It soon turned out that I had made the right decision and we became inseparable buddies.
Was really a dog lover in the past and had several dogs in the house, but I don't think my flat is room for a large dog because they need space. The advantage of a cat compared to a dog is that a cat is much less dependent on e.g. walking. A litter box for its needs and a food bowl and water bowl are the only things a cat needs. Had Jerry's cat to stay with several times and after some getting used to it went fine between both animals, could go out the door with peace of mind. It only lasted 2 years because soon I have to put my cat to sleep before she starts to suffer unnecessary pain. I never thought I would get so attached to that animal.

A somewhat different blog than you are used to from me but wanted to show my emotions in this way. Next blog is about Burning Heart and then the main course is the Viking Run that is behind us.

Viking Run Bus Trip

Just for the record, the double-decker bus to Cuijk in connection with the Viking Run will leave from our parking lot this Saturday at 09:00.
Be on time because we are not waiting for anyone.
