Kickboxing in the region of Huizen
Kickboxing is a sport where you use your arms as well as your legs. You train your whole body and work on your fitness, endurance, strength, coordination, flexibility and much more! Kickboxing is a very effective sport and as intense as you make it. The sport is also great for your mind. You will find that you get more and more comfortable in your own skin. There are few other sports where you use your body and mind as intensely as in kickboxing.
As young as 4 years old, you can kickbox near Huizen at various levels of instruction. During the lessons, respect for the opponent and the trainer always comes first. The most popular class is given several times a day; the bag training. In pairs you stand near a punching bag and alternate kickboxing exercises with fitness exercises. Our enthusiastic trainers and the energetic music ensure that you always leave with a satisfied feeling.
To work on your kickboxing technique we offer different technique classes. As a beginner it is ideal to join a basic technique class without sparring, by the way, it is not obligatory to spar in any of our classes! You are free to decide what you want to do or not.

Burning Heart is a gym but for me so much more than just a gym. From the first moment I joined there, I have been welcomed with open arms by the fine people who work and exercise there. No one needs to feel left out there, because everyone is welcome. In the battle to become a Bikkel 2.0, I can count on a lot of support from the trainers and other people at Burning Heart. If I'm not motivated for a while, the trainers are there to give me a proverbial kick in the pants. Then I automatically get motivated again to attend the fun classes of the good trainers. The training and my new lifestyle have helped me lose about 100 kg and have a healthier body. Kickboxing accessories
The most essential accessory during kickboxing is kickboxing gloves. Kickboxers are required to wear them. Don't worry if you don't have your own boxing gloves available yet! In the beginning you can borrow them from us. The gloves are used to protect both your hands and your opponent's body. They are absolutely essential during our kickboxing classes near Huizen.
Of course, the shin guards are also indispensable in a kickboxing school. They cushion the impact of the kick during training. When you join a bag training class, the choice is yours whether to wear shin guards or not, it just depends on your preference. Do you want to join a technique class? Then it is mandatory to wear the shin guards. Of course you can borrow them from us in the beginning.
During technique classes it is recommended to wear a bit, if you want to spar it is even mandatory. We sell these at the counter. A bit is also called a mouth guard. The name says it all, this soft piece of plastic you place on your upper teeth to protect your teeth.
Finally, we have the bandages. These long wraps provide protection, reinforcement and support to the wrists and knuckles. Bandages can be purchased at the front desk at Burning Heart.
