It's already Thursday, i.e. blog time. Whit Monday, during the closing of the morning mass, Jerry asked, Dad wants to film you right away because he wants to take a moment to reflect on an incident in which a taxi driver played the leading role. Nodded in agreement and a little later he came up with a leather doll that is used in MMA, among other things. He asked the athletes to line up in a long line and to indulge in the taxi driver's dummy. The reason was an article on Facebook about a snatching taxi driver who was caught in his taxi near a schoolyard. One after the other did his thing with the doll and had the greatest fun, I also found it very entertaining until the last participant came running and completely messed me up. Now I have been walking with pain in my lower back for a while but after that incident I was bursting with pain and luckily Folkert, the therapist at our Dojo, was there who immediately took care of me. I'm now a few days further but unfortunately there is little improvement. By the way, video has been viewed more than 5000 times at the moment.

This week I posted a short video on Facebook with another explanation of how to open the door on the top floor. At the moment I spend a lot of time behind my computer and see on my 2nd screen where the surveillance cameras are running how some athletes are struggling with this door. You don't want to know what kind of tricks some people do to open the door. The fact that the two magnets still work is a miracle for me. Even with their whole body against the door, one tries to get it open. It's that simple, but you have to use the right way, also difficulty opening, look on Facebook there is how things work.
The calls on Facebook from a.o. Jerry to treat the Fitness and Crossfight with a little more respect has had a positive turn it now seems. There are still annoyances, but slowly but surely things are going in the right direction. Although there are still people who show little respect for our belongings. At the end of this week, new software will be installed on both my home and the Dojo regarding the images from the cameras. With this new software, it becomes a lot easier for us to see images again.
Viking Run
It's getting closer and closer, the Viking Run in Wijchen Nijmegen. This Friday is the last day to let us know if you are going with the coach. As it looks now, it will be 2 coaches. Jerry and I are busy arranging a car (read disabled car) so that I can follow most of the course because of film work. Walking is taboo for me and certainly the pace you follow. Can you imagine it, Dick "The Raging Reporter" with his camera at the ready.
In any case, Jerry is taking his GoPro with him so that there will also be images that I assume will be spectacular.
