Octagon in Crossfight

It's one of those weeks where not everything goes the way I had in mind beforehand. Starting with last Saturday, on a roll was the work area of the bar fitted with a fresh Dojo related color of red. The original color, gray, was an eyesore. It looked unattractive, so I wanted to change it, partly because it had been stained over time. Another consideration was that each room, where needed, is currently being updated. The Fitness and Crossfight rooms look fresh and fruity again and now it is the turn of the locker rooms. Since I will be behind the bar all weekend anyway, I thought I would combine that with redecorating the work area. Full of fresh courage I wanted to sand the old layer with a sander so I set to work. I hadn't been at it for half a minute when Jerry came up to me and said: "Dad, you can't do that, you're disturbing the class that's currently going on! Sputtered at first but soon realized he was right. Then we had to wait until the lessons were over. Because the boxing class had been cancelled due to the inspection of the men's boxers elsewhere, I gained an hour's time, which was necessary because of the drying time of the paint. After the sanding, I went to work full of fresh courage and almost at the end Fred Sikking wanted a cup of coffee. Carefully I made him a cup of cappuccino and walked to the office to smoke a cigarette out of the window. When I came back a little later, there was the spoon and some remains of coffee on the newly painted area. Steam came out of my ears when I saw that and especially when Fred said: "Wipe it dry with a piece of paper". Not going to repeat what I said then but was definitely not friendly! Next Saturday apply the 2nd coat and make sure this doesn't happen again.
