Judo exam, Pietenfeest and Beastside?

Judo exam
I already mentioned in my previous blog that I would be behind the bar less than usual last Saturday because of the Judo exams. Fortunately, René Taling took care of the first hour for me and later in the morning I saw Jerry standing behind the bar to do the honors. I've been behind the bar for years because I think someone should take care of the coffee. I am a widower, retired and feel very involved with gym Burning Heart, in other words, almost everything revolves around our Dojo for me. Sometimes there are situations or incidents that cause me to be absent, but it always has to do with Dojo Burning Heart. Also last Saturday, I was behind the camera all morning to capture the Judo exams of our young members, with the intention of making a nice memory of this morning. I rarely beat me on the back, but I think I've succeeded quite well. I returned home on Saturday afternoon with more than 200 shots, quite a bit exhausted by standing for a long time, I have to live with the handicap of a reluctant leg for a few years now, but when transferring the shot images from the cameras to my computer, I soon realized that these images had succeeded.
I didn't look at the footage for the rest of the weekend, except for Sunday afternoon, to make a short compilation of this successful happening. Experience has taught me that when you put images on Facebook, you should not exceed the 2-minute mark because then the interest of viewers decreases. Before making these images, I had the thoughts beforehand to make it a lasting memory for parents, grandparents and other relatives. This has resulted in films of around 20 minutes of each Judo exam. People who would like to receive a copy, please contact master Stijn and he will ensure that either in the form of a USB stick or via WETRANSFER the video in question is available free of charge. Emphasize free because this is the philosophy of our Dojo!

New scrubber
This week we didn't add a new Fitness or other type of equipment to our equipment but something of a completely different kind, namely a scrubber for the new floor.
Message from Jerry on Facebook: "The Rolls of scrubbing machines! At least that's how buddy Johan Kuijl sold it to me. But wants to keep hygiene at the top level, especially the small Dojo where a lot of MMA, BJJ and judo are taught. The most beautiful but also the cleanest gym in 't Gooi! And become the biggest BAM along the way!! Keep investing instead of earning!!"

Crossfight space
Recently, Samantha van Doorn stopped me and asked if I was also annoyed with what the Crossfight room sometimes looks like. As you may know, in addition to the two days of teaching at our Dojo, Sam also regularly gives Personal Training. Almost every day she can be found for a lesson to someone, including last week. Lately, she has noticed that some athletes make a mess of things, to say the least. Leaving things lying around everywhere, the sled she often uses in her Personal Training behind remains full of weights and I could go on and on. If anyone can't stand mess, it's Sam, so you'll regularly see Samantha cleaning up the Crossfight room after her class, something she does of her own free will! At her request, I posted a message on Facebook to point out athletes who are guilty of this. Had said in a conscious message that Sam will personally address the people when she finds that they are making a mess of it and I, for my part, am going to keep an even closer eye on the camera images. Apparently, this post has helped, because the last few days our Crossfight room is looking better. Folks, you also benefit from a fresh-looking sports area.
I would also like to point out once again that the Octagon should only be used barefoot. Last Saturday I had to take another ride to Dojo because I saw guys with shoes on on the floor of the octagon. You know by now, see almost everything!!

Pete's party at Dance3
This Saturday will be another memorable day for the Kids among us. Sinterklaas comes to the country again, this time the good holy man arrives in Dokkum and will be seen on the T.V. Dance3 will give a Pete's party on Saturday 2 December which starts at 09.30 am and lasts until 11.30 am. Our dance teacher, Manon Weijn, is going to make it a big party. It goes without saying that I will be there with my film gear

Beastside
Next Friday we're going to start up again with Beastside!! The first times were a bit of testing and feeling, now we are going for nothing less than absolute top evenings!! From 20:00 to 23:00 Goos Baars will play very big beats in the Fitness and the lights will be replaced by big club lights! Laser gets in and some smoke. The idea is to train Old School hard under kicking conditions, so DJ and big spots. In the Octagon we will be tattooing with Douglas from B from Identify and Sandra Souisa will give massages by appointment! She is super good so pm me for an appointment! Rate is 25th instead of 50th! Full is full of course... Everyone is welcome in the thickest gym in 't Gooi, but non-members buy a day ticket for 10 euros. Changing rooms downstairs and sauna stay open and on until 00:00!
Is going to be great!!!!!!!

Until my next blog.
Dick
