Last week went pretty quiet for me, didn't do much, as it should after hectic editing days of my experiences at Maltstock. A few days in a row with less to do, is quite relaxed and was ready for it. Besides a nice Indian summer, what more could you want?
Watched both matches of the Dutch clubs in the champions league at leisure and was pleased that my club won 3-0. PSV was no match for one of the best clubs in the world, Barcelona, but no shame. They still come up short there!
Looking forward to next Sunday's cracker when both clubs meet in the city of lights.
The cameras of our dojo are buzzing with activity, at the time of writing it has just turned 08.00, my favorite time to write this blog.
From the speaker of my computer comes the fine sound of Abba, still remains one of my all time favorites. Can particularly appreciate most of this group's hits!
Now to start my blog of this week, a look back, look forward and reminiscence.

Red Cairo

Last Tuesday was Red Cairo's debut at our dojo, and the participants in his pocket training experienced it. Afterwards I asked some people what they thought of it and almost everyone I spoke to was completely exhausted after his class. Handling high tempo with short rests takes some getting used to for most who are used to other classes.
But no one excepted was satisfied with Red Cairo's first appearance as a teacher at dojo Burning Heart. When you put the teachers side by side, there is also quite a big difference in teaching. So that is Jerry's goal, a wide variety of teaching styles. At Burning Heart, everyone can get what they want.

New devices

A fitness addition is scheduled for the end of this month. A reclining T bar row, a side latteral raise and a Pendulam squat, fat addition ?
The equipment is supplied by Fittrixx and this particularly nice addition is thanks to the T.V. broadcast of my business is the best. Through this broadcast Jerry got in touch with Remco Windsant, owner of Legend Fitness, a fellow contestant of My Business is the Best.
During a scheduled visit to Legend Fitness, Jerry caught his eye on these machines. Since both owners, Remco and Jerry, immediately felt a click between each other Jerry inquired about these top of the line machines and Remco was excited about this fitness gear. Knowing Jerry, he immediately jumped on it which resulted in an order at Fa. Fittrixx. There is also a new Peck Deck in the pipeline which will be delivered in November. On top of that a Plate Loaded which got so many reactions when Jerry posted a question about this device on facebook, both do and don't do, that he deleted this post and just ordered it. In short it is getting more and more fun to be a member of Burning Heart.

Keep hammering at it

Still too many people do not have their pass with them. Things are moving in the right direction but once again I would like to urge people to check in upon entry!!! Also the towel use I bring up again for the umpteenth time, surely it is only normal when you use a towel when using a fitness machine with a leather upholstery. Just put it on the seat and the next user lies clean without sweat stains. Believe me sometimes I feel like a school teacher but still see too many people entering the gym without a towel. Hence this repetition!
