Octagon
Progress on the Octagon is going fine and when this blog goes on Facebook I can report that phase 1, raising and finishing the ceiling is completely finished. The result is impressive, Daan van de Kamp and his temporary mate Mark, have done a great job and except for one hour of painting the cove, all Crossfight lessons have continued without a single hitch. The next phase is to create extra space by removing the upstairs office and the cupboard that holds the drinks, vacuum cleaner and other things. Had to swallow quite a bit, just like Daphne losing her office to see the storage closet gone. Fortunately, there will be a new lockable room in the downstairs hallway, intrigued with the stairs, which is much needed for the liquor and cleaning supplies. The existing office, behind the bar, if needed, is going to serve as Daphne and Bouke's office for any intake calls and what's more to the point. In the past, even if the door was closed, everyone would just walk in without blinking an eye, which was considered particularly annoying by the aforementioned persons. To counteract this, I will install a clear and visible red light on the outside of the office which is easy to operate so that Daphne and/or Bouke are not disturbed. Believe me when this has been arranged and people still think they are going in at a red light they will have to deal with me because it is not only annoying but you can even call it rude. Hook up right here because my blog is not complete when I don't have a point of criticism, can get immensely annoyed by persons who are behind the bar for no apparent reason. The space is already not too big and often you just have to push someone aside to get to the other side of the bar. Really find this particularly annoying.

New classes
There was already something to read on facebook through a message from Jerry, there are going to be new classes. Starting with Instant Defense which will also be given on Monday nights. The popularity of Mike's classes is growing and by adding a class we hope to satisfy the practitioners of this quite instructive class.
