91 participants Viking Run

Knowing that on my blog writing day, Thursdays, I am a bit less in time but started on Wednesday evening. Just watched the world turns by while eating fries and croquet while watching, enjoyed the weekly chat of an idol of mine, Nico Dijkshoorn. I can imagine that not everyone is a fan of that man, but for me that man is simply the end. His sentence structure seems simple at first glance but is so well thought out, as is the way he examines topics discussed, in my opinion class!! Whether it's a different day than I normally write my blog, but somehow I'm just comfortable in my own skin, as evidenced by the fact that I have a fine whiskey in front of me and even lit a Cuban Cohiba. Of course with a match preheated and now enjoying this mighty tasty cigar. By the way, the Whisky is a fine dram of Macallan called Easter Elchies, once bought at the Distillery during a visit to Macallan. A delicious sherry bomb at 59.6% ABV. Unfortunately no longer available. As an impressive white ash forms the tip of my Cohiba and the smoke slowly writhes into the air like a snake, my thoughts go to the present day.

Not "My Piece of Cake"
The umpteenth day at the Dojo where the work on the Octagon is central. After Daniel van de Kamp started on Wednesday evening with the framing of our octagon, I continued with this job today, Wednesday. Daniel dies in the work, so I think it's a logical thought to take as much work out of his hands as possible. Crawling on my knees under the floor of the Octagon, I was busy installing the wooden partitions on which the final canvas will be attached. At the beginning of the afternoon, the people who have to realize the superstructure also came on the scene, with all due respect their pace is not mine. Just the fact that you come in the early afternoon is a bit shocking to say the least. These people, with whom I get along well, have the same problem as Daniel van de Kamp, busy, busy and busy again. Leave Jerry alone because after I came by at the end of the afternoon I heard that if all went well they will come back on Friday.
Not "My Piece of Cake", especially if you took on this job weeks in advance.

91 participants Viking Run
Registration for the Viking Run is now closed and we can conclude that it has been a success, 91 participants have signed up. The majority opted for 13 kilometers, just like last year. I was often asked is this favorite distance not too much for me because it will be the first time for me to participate. Invariably, my answer was that we take our time to complete the course. If there are obstacles on your path that you dread, you can walk around them at any time, but our experience is that we help each other and try to end up as a big group. Remember the slide at the end of the run of last version, quite a high thing when you are on top and have seen many people turn around. As mentioned earlier, we want to start as one group and complete the run. The double-decker bus will leave a little earlier than at our first participation, this was chosen to have more time after the run to have a drink together. I am convinced that it will be a beautiful day and now let's hope that the weather is good! Of course photos will be taken and try to film as much as possible so that we have a nice look back on this run.

Until my next blog.
